By popular demand, the Scunthorpe Alphas are excited to announce that the second of our taster sessions will take place on Sunday, December 15th.
The session, which will be for our Under 19 contact team and our non-contact flag football team (ages 7-14), is taking place on the 3G pitch at John Leggott College in Scunthorpe between 16:00 and 18:00 GMT.
New and experienced players are welcome it - does not matter if you have played American Football before or if you are trying your hand at the game for the first time.
The session will give you a sense of practice organisation and flow, American Football drills and skills, and the culture and values of the team.
There is no fee to attend the taster session and you can expect a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, but with a focus on improving you as a player.
Bring your football boots, a drink and plenty of energy!
Please take note of the site rules:
Footwear: moulded or rubber studs ONLY
Please ensure footwear is clean before entering pitch
No smoking or vaping on college site
No food or canned drinks: bottled drinks ONLY
No pets
Parking: Use car park opposite college
